Maurice Chapelan

He was born on the 1st of January 1906. He wrote eight works between 1947 and 1989, the journalist and novelist Maurice Chapelan is a very discreet person. He is known mainly for his very powerful quotations, and, during many years, he got a wide range of subjects. He is the only writer who published an anthology of personal diaries, that hasn't gained a great success among the audiences, so he abandoned the idea of publishing a second one. In 1977 he signed "Rien n'est jamais fini", an autobiographical work about his life in the '30s, between humour and libertinage.
